NWA is a professional wrestling league, full of outlandish characters and even crazier storylines. I couldn’t wait to get started on this project as a wrestling fan.
My Role: Developed the key art design and built the marketing assets.

Initial Designs
It isn’t very often that I captured the design in the initial rounds. It usually takes a couple iterations for me to feel I reached an idea. I think my fandom for professional wrestling in my youth helped a lot. With the initial design, I wanted to over exaggerate the electricity, the flairs, the neon wrestling ropes.
Final Design
The final design had everything I love: textures and energy. Professional wrestling is one of the properties that calls for it. I wanted the design to read like a movie poster, it needs to capture the audience attention right away. The bright yellows, the menacing wrestlers, and the textures did just that.
